Daily 6 am - dusk. Closed Christmas. Walk through lovely Rogersville where more than 30 homes and buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. Rogersville is home to the oldest courthouse, inn, and post office in Tennessee. Stroll through Crockett Springs Park where Davy Crockett's grandparents were massacred by Indians in 1777 and buried nearby. The walk passes the Tennessee Newspaper and Printing Museum located in the old Southern Railway Train Depot built in 1890. Tennessee's first newspaper was printed in Rogersville in 1791.

4017 E. Main (Hwy 66), (423) 272-6250. From North or South I-81, take Exit 23 and follow signs to Rogersville, using Hwy 23, then Hwy 66. Once inside Rogersville city limits, go through two traffic lights then bear RIGHT to Main St. following sign to Historic District. Stay on Main St for approximately 2 miles. At the traffic light at Park Blvd, turn LEFT and immediately turn RIGHT into Eastgate Shopping Center where Food City is located. Ask for the Walk Box at Customer Service.
