M-F 8am-8pm, Sat., Sun 12pm to 8 pm. This is a hard surfaced trail that runs along the Missouri River and partly through a residential area. Shortly after passing under the railroad bridge note the monument (looks like a miniature Washington Monument) high on a bluff to the East, marking the grave of Sgt. Floyd, the only member of the Lewis & Clark Expedition to die.Turn around is 33rd Street (If you look up as you come out of the residential area, there is a high school parking lot across the street). Restroom available at start point.

South Sioux City Parks & Rec. Office, 801 Riverview Dr., South Sioux City NE. (402)494-7535. From I-29 take Exit 148. Proceed over bridge into South Sioux City. Left (East) at the stoplight at the base of bridge. Continue on Riverview Dr. past outdoor pool. Take next left into campground area. Office is ahead on the right.
