It follows city sidewalks, with a short section (about 100 yards) of unpaved path. A modern suburban residential development is the setting for this walk. Many walking trails were built into the design of these neighborhoods, providing a route that is peaceful and safe from traffic hazards. The area is convenient to I-64 and adjacent to a major regional shopping center.

1025-A Eden Way North. Phone: 757-547-1211. From I-64, take Exit 289 (Greenbrier Parkway) south, toward Greenbrier Mall. Follow Greenbrier Parkway past the mall. Turn left at the first stoplight after the mall (Eden Way). Take Eden Way to the next stoplight, and turn right on River Birch Run; turn into shopping center (mini) to Greenbrier Food Mart. Please do not park immediately in front of the stores in this small shopping center but park in the middle of the lot. The customers who use these stores will appreciate your courtesy as will the proprietors. The walk box is located by the Virginia Lottery display.
