Description:

The Welcome Center is open May 1-Oct.15th : Mon.-Sat. 9AM-6PM;Sun.11AM-4PM. Oct.16th-May 1st: Mon.-Sat. 10AM-5PM;Sun. 11AM-2PM. Center is operated mainly by volunteers, so the hours vary.
The 5Km (rated 1) & 10Km (rated 2+) walks go to Maple Groves Farms, which has an optional tour. The 4Km (rated 1), 6Km & 10Km (rated 2+) go to the upper part of town, passing monuments, a museum, 3 historic churches, and many examples of historically significant houses. Also, these walks offer a visit to the Athenaeum Library and Museum (Fee Area), the "oldest art gallery". On Friday's Reeve Lindbergh is in the Atheneaum and loves to chat with people.
