Begun on Spanish land gran, by Don Manuel Yturri By. Castillo soon after he acquired the site, 1817. Later, a Victorian House was added at front. Yturri (d. 1843) and his son Manuel II (1838-1913) were San Antonio Aldermen. Houses are still owned by family.
